Summary

Azar Business Development Department is responsible for growth of Azar globally, and Director plays a key role in facilitating and accelerating its process. We do not expect Director to know how to solve every issue, but to know how to approach and how to lead the team to the right direction. We are looking for a strong proactive business developer with an interest in growing tech startups.

Responsibilities

  • Set strategic direction for further growth of Azar, considering both existing and new market
  • Lead business development and marketing efforts ensuring that global product rollouts and marketing strategies are localized appropriately
  • Understand user needs by analyzing behavior patterns and market research
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to diagnose and recommend action items
  • Initiate ideas/action plans for local market penetration to accelerate growth
  • Monitor competitors and develop ideas for product feature changes
  • Guide and help members to step up to the next level

Requirements

  • at least 7+ years of business development or digital marketing experience
  • at least 3+ years of leadership or team management experience in tech/startup companies
  • Strategic, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication(verbal/written) skill
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong expertise in at least one major marketing function (i.e. performance marketing, customer relationship management, content marketing, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications/ Work Experiences

  • Core problem solving skills (i.e logical thinking, problem framing, data analysis, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of user lifecycle marketing and how to best leverage user touchpoints (digital/offline marketing, push messages, etc.) to optimize lifetime value
  • Fluent English Speaker

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work

  • Full-time, Regular Position
  • Probation Period for 3 months
  • Monday – Friday (10:00 – 19:00) in Seoul time
