My students are being categorized into 4 different Age Groups --

BEGINNER | 6-8 y/o
PRIMARY | 9-14 y/o
SECONDARY | 15-19 y/o
ADULT | 20 y/o & Professionals

That is why, taking the FTC is being required in order for the Teacher to determine the proper level and appropriate book for the student. After taking the FTC, the student will be put accordingly to his proper level.

Student Levels are as follows:

Alphabet - Zero knowledge in English.
 
Into Beginner - No functional ability. Yes or No response, sometimes nodding or shrugging.
Low Beginner - Limited functional ability. Answers in a word or a common phrase.
High Beginner - Still has limited communication skills but has basic survival ability.

Low Intermediate - Able to maintain conversations although grammar errors are still evident.
High Intermediate - Able to function beyond survival needs. Has the ability to start and continue a conversation.

Low Advance - Student speaks confidently although with errors.
High Advance - Student is very confident in speaking English and has less grammatical errors.
