3) U.S. college/graduate school admissions consulting: In today’s globalized society, studying in the U.S. can be a key path to career success. In this regard, I provide comprehensive and structured consulting services to those wishing to study at a U.S. college/graduate school.

--Essay: Essays play a critical role in the admissions decision. Thus, by carefully analyzing the candidate’s strengths/weaknesses and unique background and through a number of interviews, I help the candidate develop an action plan for admissions. By using this plan and considering the candidate’s goals, we prepare a list of potential schools and determine an appropriate direction for the essay. Then I help the candidate prepare the initial version of the essay, which will be followed by several revisions and the final, polished version.

--Letter of recommendation: I help guide the direction of the letter of recommendation (LOR). The LOR varies according to the school, and thus, the strategy also varies. However, the LOR should always supplement the candidate’s weaknesses and reinforce the strengths. Most importantly, there must be a fine balance between the essay and the LOR.

--Interview: Some schools require an interview. For this, I coach the client on the best interview techniques that are consistent with the school, the essay, and the LOR.
