We currently have an internal job opening for Business Intelligence Analyst (Investment Research) – Korean
Job description:
The primary mandate of the team is to ensure that all contributor content is being processed and tagged, so that it can be easily found by our desktop clients. We know how our clients search for content, so we are a valuable resource for them when it comes to understanding how their content should be displayed. We are also the primary support channel for the brokers when issues arise with their content or the administrative tools available on the platform to manage it.
The Business Intelligence Analyst works closely with internal and external clients to create ad hoc and automated reports that reveal fundamental insights into the research content that is available on the CIQ platform.
· Will be responsible for creating a range of products that tell a compelling story about the competitive advantages of our various research content sets. Other reports will need to be created that highlight gaps that may need to be filled.
· Will be expected to work closely with members of the COP’s, Aftermarket, Entitlements, Marketing and 3rd Party Network team to proactively identify areas where their skills can be applied.
· Will be responsible for acquiring expert knowledge of current-state reporting capabilities and the data that underlies them.
· Will be responsible for identifying future-state reporting and dataset requirements, and maintaining the product roadmap for both.
Additional Responsibilities:
· Relationship building with internal and external clients
· Ensuring that contributor data is kept up to date and current
· Respond to internal and external queries promptly
· Responsibility for producing in-depth reports and dashboards in Salesforce
· Identify lapses in contribution processes
· Creation of Ad Hoc reports
· Analyze contributor feeds to establish quality of tagging and metadata, and timeliness of delivery
· Participate in S&P Capital IQ Company-wide testing (can be outside standard working hours)
· Keep current with all relevant third party business intelligence charting and analysis tools in order to leverage any new developments
· Various ad-hoc projects as defined by the COP’s Team
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a finance discipline
· Korean, Thai or Mandarin bilingual/multilingual
· Advanced MS Excel and SQL experience a plus
· Experience working with Salesforce
· Access experience preferred
· Motivated individual with exceptional problem solving and project management skills
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work effectively within a team environment as well as independently
· Highly-developed communications skills, both oral and written
· Demonstrated relationship building and time management skills
· Ability to identify and implement opportunities for improved service & workflow
· A solid and demonstrated understanding of the financial markets
· Must be thorough and driven to succeed in this position
