He introduced key teaching concepts like educational psychology which proposed that the teacher has to understand the student's psychological state to guide him effectively. Additionally, his Five-Step Methodology for teaching, namely, preparation, presentation, association, generalization, and application, allows instructors to deliver clear and effective lessons. He also emphasized the need for moral character and values formation in students. To sum up, his impactful theories and methods continue to shape the education system, not only in the Philippines, but around the world, by putting a strong emphasis on psychologically informed instruction and moral education.
