세부 씨티은행 ATM을 이용하시는 분들께

<div style="font-size: 10pt;"> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">가끔씩 세부 아얄라 옆에 있는 씨티뱅크를 이용합니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">갈때마다 인상을 찌푸리게 만드는 매너 없는 한국 사람들이 있긴 한대요.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">몇일 전에 있었던 일을 잠시 소개합니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">먼저 그 곳 씨티은행 내에는 한국 사람들이 대부분이고 로컬 사람도 있고 그 외 외국인들이 있습니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">이 곳에는 ATM 기계가 총 3대 있습니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">3대의 머신 모두 한번에 인출되는 금액은 최대&nbsp;15,000페소이구요,</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">먼저 좌측부터 첫번째 ATM 머신은 15,000페소를 인출하면 14,500페소가 500페소짜리로 나머지 500페소는 100페소짜리로 5장 인출이 됩니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">그 다음에 있는 머신과 제일 오른쪽에 있는 머신은 15,000페소를 인출하면 14,000페소가 1,000페소 지폐로 14장,&nbsp;나머지 1,000페소는 500페소 지폐 2장으로 인출이 되구요.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">그리고 그 ATM을 이용하기 위해 일반적으로 한 줄로 줄을 서구요,</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">ATM 머신들로부터 대략 세 발자국 정도 뒤에 줄을 서시면 됩니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">제가 정한 룰은 아니구요, ㅎㅎ 그 곳 가드가 대체로 그렇게 지시를 합니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">몇일 전, 제가 은행에 들어섰을 때에, 은행 내에 첫번째 ATM에는 필리핀 아주머니가 두번째 세번째 기계들에는 한국인들이 있었구요,</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">제가 줄을 섰을 때에 맨 앞에는 약 40대 초반으로 보이는 한국 남자, 그 다음은 나이 많은 서양 아저씨가, 그 다음으로 제가 서 있었습니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">문제는 여기서 시작됩니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">첫번째 ATM을 이용하던 필리핀 아주머니가 인출을 끝내고 자리를 뜹니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">당연히 기다리던 줄 맨 앞에 서있던 한국 남자가 그곳으로 갑니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">이제 기다리던 줄의 맨 앞에는 서양 아저씨가 서 있겠죠.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">그리고나서 얼마 후에 두번째 ATM을 이용하던 한국인이 자리를 뜹니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">당연히 기다리던 줄의 맨 앞에 있던 서양인이 그곳으로 향합니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">그때 갑자기 첫번째 머신을 이용하던 40대의 한국 남자가 그곳으로 끼어듭니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">서양 아저씨 당황해하며 멈칫합니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">그 한국 남자는 서양 아저씨를 한번 힐끔 쳐다보더니 그냥 그 ATM을 접수하려고 합니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">서양 아저씨가 한마디 합니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">지금 내 차례인데 뭐하는 거냐고..</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">그러는 사이 세번째 ATM을 이용하던 한국인이 자리를 뜹니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">이제 저는 제 차례가 되었으니 세번째 ATM으로 향하면서 그 광경을 지켜봅니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">그러는 사이에 다른 이용객들이 또 들어옵니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">한 필리핀 아저씨가 비어 있는 첫번째 ATM 으로 가서 이용을 합니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">두번째 ATM에는 그 서양 아저씨가 이용을 하고 있습니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">그런데 그 한국 남자가 서양 아저씨 바로 뒤에 바짝 붙어서 ATM 이용을 기다립니다.ㅡㅡ;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">서양 아저씨가 뒤를 돌아보며 한마디 하더군요. "더 뒤로 가서 줄 서!"</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">그러는 사이에 벌써 다른 두 명이 줄을 더 서 있습니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">그 한국 남자가 줄 맨 앞으로 갑니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">먼저 줄을 서고 있었던 필리핀 남자와 그 뒤에 있던 한국 젊은 여학생이 어리둥절하게 쳐다봅니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">가드가 말을 합니다. "뒤로 가서 줄을 서시오."</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">그러자 그 한국 남자는 C8을 연발하며 줄 맨 뒤로 갑니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">제가 몇년간 그 곳을 이용하며 보고 겪은 팁을 말씀드리면요.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">이미 말씀드린 것처럼,</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">좌측에서 첫번째 머신은 500페소와 100페소 짜리로 인출이 가능하며, 그 외 두 머신은 1,000페소와 500페소 짜리로 인출이 가능합니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">머신들 옆에 영어로 짤막하게 표시가 되어 있기도 하구요.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">그러니 500페소짜리로 주로 인출이 필요하신 분들은 좌측 첫번째 머신을, 1,000페소짜리가 필요하신 분들은 그 외 머신들을 이용하시면 됩니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">아무 지폐나 관계없으신 분들은 은행 가드 지시에 따라 줄을 서시거나, 굳이 가드가 지시를 안하더라도 돈을 찾는 사람들 바로 뒤에 바짝 붙어서 기다리지 마시고,</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">몇발자국 떨어진 곳에 줄을 서신 후에 이용이 끝난 곳에 가서 인출을 하시면 됩니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">그리고 줄을 서 있을 때에 본인 차례가 되었는데 본인이 이용하려는 기계가 아니라 다른 기계가 비게 된다면 즉,</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">본인은 1,000페소 짜리를 인출하려고 하는데 좌측 첫번째 500페소로 인출되는 기계가 비게 된다면,</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">뒷사람에게 미소 한번 지으면서 먼저 이용하라고 하시면 되겠습니다.</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">사소한 상황에서부터 항상 매너있게 행동하는 한국 사람들이 되자구요..^^</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="font-size: 10pt;">외국에서는 우리의 사소한 행동 하나가 한국 사람들 전체를 싸잡아서 욕먹일 수도 있고, 또 그와 반대의 경우가 될 수도 있음을 항상 명심하면 좋겠습니다.</div> </div>
